1. Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JagBandhu website, mobile application, and related services (together, the "Services"). The Services are offered by Jagbandhu Business Solutions ("JagBandhu", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. About JagBandhu
JagBandhu is a platform for connecting people, managing personal and family relationships, creating circles, and organizing events, invitations, and related content.
3. Eligibility and Account
To create an account, you must provide the information the Services request, and that information must be accurate. Please keep it up to date.
On the mobile application, you sign in with a one-time code sent to your mobile number. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, including activity by someone who uses your device or account with your permission.
4. Personal Information and Privacy
Our practices for collecting, using, storing, and disclosing personal information are described in the Privacy Policy. These Terms do not replace that policy.
5. Friends, Family and Relationship Information
You may create and manage family relationships and circles, and you may provide information about other people. You are responsible for having the appropriate permission or authority to provide information about other living individuals.
6. Events and Invitations
You may create and manage events and invitations. You are responsible for the information you enter, including venues, dates, guest details, and related content.
You must not use events, invitations, or any other part of the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activities.
7. User Content
You may submit content through the Services, including:
- Profile information
- Photos
- Invitation images and content
- Gallery and event content
- Event information
- Other information you submit through the Services
You are responsible for content you submit, and you must have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. You keep ownership of your content. You grant JagBandhu a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, and operate that content as part of the Services. This license is only for providing the Services, and it lasts while the content remains available on the Services.
8. Permissions and Device Features
Some features of the mobile application may request device permissions, depending on the feature you use. These can include:
- Contacts
- Photos and media
- Camera
- Notifications
- Calendar
- Biometric or other device security features
Whether a permission is available depends on your device and platform. You can allow, refuse, or change permissions in your device settings. If you refuse a permission, the related feature may not be available.
9. Notifications and Communications
JagBandhu may send service-related notifications, such as invitations, event reminders, and other messages about your account or the Services.
Where your device supports it, you can control notification permissions in your device settings.
10. Third-Party Services
The Services may rely on third-party providers to host and operate the platform, deliver communications, and support reliability. When a feature involves a third-party service, that provider's own terms may also apply to your use of that feature.
We do not control third-party services. Except where applicable law does not allow this, we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
11. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Violate applicable laws
- Impersonate another person
- Misuse another person's personal information
- Upload unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or harmful content
- Interfere with the Services or attempt to compromise them
- Attempt to access the Services, accounts, or data without authorization
- Use the Services to distribute malware or other malicious code
- Misuse invitations, events, circles, or other platform features
- Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights
12. Intellectual Property
The JagBandhu website, application, branding, software, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the Services for their intended purpose. That right does not transfer ownership of the Services to you.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of content you submit. You keep that content, as described above.
13. Account Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Services where reasonably necessary for security, to address misuse, to enforce these Terms, or to comply with applicable law.
You may stop using the Services at any time, and you may request deletion of your account.
14. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account through the process described on the Account Deletion page. That page is the source for the current deletion process and for what information may be retained. These Terms do not set a separate deletion timeline.
15. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an "as available" basis, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
You are responsible for the information and content you submit, and for how you use the Services.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Jagbandhu Business Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services or your inability to use them.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
17. Changes to the Services and Terms
We may update the Services and these Terms from time to time. When these Terms change, the updated version will be published at /terms. If you continue to use the Services after an update, you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
